After ten games to start the season, the Sabers are 5-5 playing .500 baseball. The Sabers beat TJO Sports 4-2 and the Boston Padres 7-3 to start the week. However, the Sabers would blow a 3 run lead in the last inning on Thursday night, to lose 7-6 to Palmer. The Sabers continue to keep pace with the middle of the pack and are looking to make it into the top 4 to enter the post-season. The Sabers have lost three games in the last inning this season and are hoping to finish those games moving forward.
Joe Caico has been great at the plate, leading the Sabers with 9 hits and a .529 AVG. Caico also homered in Thursday night's game.
